Sundays at River of the Valley
And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
(Hebrews 10:24,25)
Why We Meet
Worship activates the awareness of God’s living and active presence in your life and world. Our hearts and minds are so easily drawn away from Him. Worship renews our faith in God’s love, and renews our passion for Jesus’ Way. Our gatherings always revolve around God’s Word as we pray, sing, hear, and respond together.

When we meet

For about 75 minutes we join in creative responses to God’s presence through songs, prayers and community. A Biblical and Spirit-filled sermon is at the heart of every worship gathering.
For joining us remotely please follow us on Facebook.
What about Kids
Nursery:
If you have a young child feel free to either keep them with you or take advantage of our nursery.
Preschool & Elementary:
All families start together in our main sanctuary. After about 15 minutes all the children are invited to head off for their own children’s church. Their safety, fun and growth is our top priority. If you want to know about what their time will look like, check it out here!

Where We Meet

22103 Vanowen St., Canoga Park, CA 91303
We begin our service in the Sanctuary and then head out on the Lawn for fellowship.
Small groups are where learning and practicing the Way of Jesus flourishes in a supportive, encouraging, and engaging environment. A group of 7-12 people commit to a 2 month stretch of meeting regularly in a living room, on River’s campus, at a local restaurant, or wherever.
The group revolves around the application questions that come out of each sermon. This way, what happens on Sunday begins to permeate throughout your week, into your family, into your work place, into your life.
